Anastasia Vozokhina (b. 1988, USSR) works across different mediums including photography, collage, sculpture and text.
She lives and works in Cologne, Germany and Saanenmöser, Switzerlan. Her artistic practice raises the issue of perception and representation of identity, fragmentation of memory and history recycling. Her work has drown on various sociopolitical themes and yet remains deeply personal and autobiographic. Vozokhina’s oeuver plays with a complex process of juctaposig achival and found objects with seemingly contradictory elements, revealing a new imaginary of reality and its events.
